Local seamstress based in Tunbridge Wells with over 20 years of experience. At Silk Interiors we struggle a little when it comes to blowing our own trumpet, we find it’s much better to let the quality of our work and our customer testimonials speak for themselves.

These curtains had a run in with the sunshine ☀️ so my client found a beautifully wide trim which I’ve covered the damage with and then lines them for future prevention. That will do the trick! 😎☀️😍

I’m going to be very honest now and say that this fabric tested my patience, it’s a faux velvet and was like trying to sew a slippery eel. But I persevered and got them done! Thankfully my client loves them and I think they finish her roo

My client had a very awkward window which had Roman blinds at it with shutters behind them. This made opening the shutters nye on impossible from behind them. Time for curtains which pull out of the way of the shutters…..taaadaaaaaa. Happy Val

After a long deliberation over fabric (there was a lot of it involved in these curtains so it had to be right) my client had her lovely new pinch pleat, interlined curtains hung today by yours truly. The sun was shining too, happy happy days 😍☀️

Absolutely love these striped blinds in a little man’s bedroom. I attached them to the existing headrails but added in some safety features that weren’t present with the last blinds. Yes, I’m more than happy to reuse anything to mak
